VA General Assembly Bill Tracking

During the 2023 General Assembly session, Mason will follow bills that could have an impact on the University's operations. Members of the faculty and staff who have been designated to review bills that relate to their area of expertise are called Issue Advisors. The staff of the Office of State Government Relations communicates regularly with Issue Advisors as bills move through the legislative process, though it is the Government Relations Council which makes all final decisions on the official Mason position regarding all legislation.

Just below you will find a list of bill categories. Each category links to a page populated with the list of bills the University is following in that area and their status from the end of the prior day.
