Kerri Cardoza

Kerri CardozaKerri Cardoza is the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Government and Community Relations at George Mason University. Kerri joined Mason in 2008 as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for University Relations, and supported the reorganization of University Relations into two separate units in October 2012.

An experienced professional with a proven track record of assisting senior officials, Kerri serves as an effective gatekeeper for the office, manages calendars and the budget, and efficiently handles day-to-day office activities for all staff within the Office of Government and Community Relations.

Prior to joining George Mason University, Kerri worked in the Chancellor’s Office at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth for over twenty years. Kerri retired from UMass Dartmouth in 2007 to accompany her husband in his job transfer to Washington.

Kerri is a founding member of the IAAP Mason Chapter and has served both as President and Vice President.  She received a BA in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and an AA in liberal arts from the Community College of Rhode Island.
