Toni M. Andrews is the Associate Director in The Office of Community & Local Government Relations at George Mason University’s Arlington Campus.
Her professional career has included work in journalism, governmental affairs, and media relations at The White House. She owned and operated The Andrews Agency, a full service marketing, advertising and public relations firm for over twelve years. She served as Vice President of Public Relations & Corporate Communications at Burke & Herbert Bank – the Washington, DC area’s oldest bank.
Ms. Andrews is responsible for local government, business and community relations for the Arlington Campus of George Mason University. In this role she serves as the primary liaison to local elected officials, chambers of commerce, home owners associations and other professional organizations within the Arlington and Alexandria communities. Ms. Andrews works to build relationships and partnerships for programs and initiatives at the Mason Arlington campus.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a graduate of Leadership Alexandria (Class of 2008), is a past Board member of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce and the Alexandria Small Business Development Center. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Rebuilding Together Alexandria and has been accepted for participation in the Leadership Arlington Class of 2014 program.
